Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nic Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond The Finish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nic Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Desmond The Finish! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo shoots for a double leg takedown but The Finish sprawls well. He's pushed Bravo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bravo gets in close and instigates a clinch. The Finish tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bravo avoids it. A short right from Bravo. The Finish prevents a body shot from Bravo. The is referee keeping an eye on The Finish - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bravo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for The Finish. Bravo holding his opponent close, against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Finish's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The Finish tries to bum rush Bravo with a series of wild strikes but Bravo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The Finish wants to clinch but Bravo slips to the side and Bravo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Both fighters working to control the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Desmond The Finish. Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The Finish is squirming around, avoiding Bravo's attempts to control the action. Bravo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bravo wants to control the pace but The Finish is squirming around nicely. The Finish tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away. The Finish holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bravo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Finish is looking to get to half guard. Bravo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. The Finish can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bravo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but The Finish is surviving well by controlling Bravo's body position as best he can. Bravo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The Finish tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away. Bravo cracks The Finish with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bravo looking to control and managing it successfully. Bravo working for a guillotine from mount but The Finish is in no mood to give up. Bravo wants to control the pace but The Finish is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Bravo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, The Finish has worked his arm free - good work by The Finish!
Bravo is breathing heavily. Bravo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bravo throws an elbow but The Finish slips to the side and avoids it well. The Finish is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Finish is looking to improve his position.
Bravo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Finish does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The Finish trying to hold on to Bravo's head to control him but Bravo postures up.
The Finish is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bravo pulls his head out easily. Bravo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Left hook, right uppercut from The Finish.
It looks like Nic Bravo has been cut. Bravo misses with a leg kick. The Finish clinches but Bravo breaks the clinch and Bravo moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nic Bravo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nic Bravo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The Finish closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The Finish just leaning against Bravo, taking a breather. Bravo stalling the fight.
Bravo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Finish's efforts to push away. Bravo tries for a takedown but The Finish manages to get underhooks.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A nice right hand lands inside from The Finish. The Finish blocks a body shot from Bravo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Finish throws a punch but it's blocked by Bravo. The Finish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bravo moves into range and clinches up with The Finish. The referee calls for The Finish to work.
The Finish is looking to control Bravo's arms but Bravo gets an underhook and turns him. Now The Finish has his back to the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. The Finish can't fight it off and eventually Bravo manages to take the fight to the floor. The Finish looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bravo wants to control from the top but The Finish keeps moving. Bravo looking to pass the guard. The Finish trying to keep a closed guard but Bravo is proving a slippery customer.
Bravo pushes down on The Finish's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Finish trying to control here.
Bravo wants to pass the guard but The Finish is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravo is trying to control. The Finish wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bravo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bravo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Finish, pushing him back against the cage. Bravo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bravo gets control of The Finish's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bravo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The Finish won't allow Bravo to sweep him here. Bravo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Finish gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bravo keeping moving, preventing The Finish from controlling successfully. Bravo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The Finish is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bravo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The Finish's back instead. Bravo doesn't have the hooks in and The Finish manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Finish trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The Finish tries to free his leg and advance position but Bravo is retaining full guard. The Finish is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The Finish trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bravo fails with the takedown. The Finish misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The Finish wants to clinch but Bravo slips to the side so Bravo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bravo stands up over The Finish, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bravo got a little sloppy there for a moment and The Finish has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bravo has managed to get both his arms back between The Finish's legs - danger averted. Bravo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bravo is looking to work some ground and pound but The Finish has wrist control. The Finish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bravo manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nic Bravo dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Nic Bravo's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
The Finish closes the distance looking to clinch and Bravo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Come on Bravo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. The Finish working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The Finish taking a breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bravo prevents a body shot from The Finish. The Finish swings wildly with an uppercut but Bravo uses good head movement to avoid it. The Finish will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bravo up against the cage. Bravo is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The Finish is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bravo is keeping busy. The Finish blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Bravo has The Finish pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. The Finish manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Come on The Finish - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Finish avoiding damage as Bravo throws knees to the body.

The Finish tries to land a knee to the head but Bravo blocks with his arms.
The Finish takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bravo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bravo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The Finish wants to control but Bravo postures up. Bravo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bravo tries for a kimura but The Finish is defending well. The Finish is trying to control Bravo's posture but Bravo avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo gets to mount! The Finish was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bravo trying to control but he's not successful this time. The Finish gets back to half guard. Bravo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bravo stalling away here and it's allowed The Finish to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Bravo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bravo preventing the sweep. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but The Finish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bravo won't allow The Finish to sweep him here. Nic Bravo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bravo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Finish manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bravo has The Finish in his guard. Bravo looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Finish is one step ahead there. Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Desmond The Finish has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nic Bravo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The Finish postures up in Bravo's guard and throws a big left but Bravo blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nic Bravo. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bravo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
