The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tate swivels and escapes.
Tate missing with a left hand there. Martinez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tate is just content to waste time from the top position. Martinez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Martinez is trying to keep Tate in close.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Tate will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Tate swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tate looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Martinez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tate's waist but Tate gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martinez off to one side.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tate keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Martinez looks for a takedown but Tate sprawls well.

Tate on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tate tries to get out of the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tate holds on and takes a little breather.

Martinez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tate looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tate looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tate!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Martinez is trying to improve his position.

Jon Tate showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tate, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
