Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidel Jr Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Angle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fidel Jr Castro! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Castro is trying to improve his position. Angle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castro keeps working. Castro wants to control but Angle postures up. Angle is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Castro is looking to regain half guard here but Angle keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Angle in side control, just content to control the action for now. Castro is trying to improve his position. The referee asks Angle politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Angle prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Castro looking for a sweep but Angle has passed into full mount! Oh no! Angle has hold of Castro's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Castro manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Castro is wriggling around trying to escape.
Castro is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Angle controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Castro is in all sorts of trouble here.
Angle is working for a guillotine from mount but Castro frees his head quite easily.
Angle trying to control but he's not successful this time. Castro is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Angle connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Angle controlling from the full mount. Castro is squirming around, avoiding Angle's attempts to control the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee stands the fighters back up. Kurt Angle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Angle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Castro manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurt Angle dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angle. Angle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Castro wants to get back to his feet but Angle drags him back down. Castro struggling a bit here. Angle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Castro, who protects the arm well. Castro is being controlled here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Castro sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Castro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Castro. Castro working a defensive guard here.
Castro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angle controls the pace. Castro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Angle's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Angle keeping moving, preventing Castro from controlling successfully. Castro being controlled here momentarily. Castro must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Castro throwing strikes but missing. Angle working a defensive guard here.
Castro thows a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angle managing to control the position. Angle wants to sweep but no luck. Angle has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Castro should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Angle has tightened it up now! Castro should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
