Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hinds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cat Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Hinds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cat Dog! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hinds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dog clinches up against the cage. Dog just leaning against Hinds, taking a breather. Dog is trying to trip Hinds. He has hold of a leg but Hinds is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dog persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hinds trying to control the position.
Dog wants to stand but Hinds is controlling his posture from full guard. Dog looking to pass the guard. Dog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hinds wants to sweep but no luck. Dog slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hinds pulls Dog in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog preventing the sweep. Dog wants to control from the top but Hinds keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hinds throws a wild body kick that Dog sees coming a mile off. Hinds stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dog. Hinds gets caught flat footed, as Dog shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dog throwing strikes from guard but Hinds blocks nicely. Dog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hinds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dog pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hinds is keeping the position for now. Hinds is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dog gets a trip takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hinds is trying to maintain the position but Dog is very close to passing his half guard. Dog missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hinds pushes Dog off and gets back to his feet. Hinds is breathing heavily. Hinds throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hinds with a lazy takedown attempt and Dog counters with a two punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dog closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dog pulls guard successfully.
Dog pulls Hinds in close to his closed guard and prevents Hinds from doing any damage or advancing position. Hinds wants to pass the guard but Dog is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hinds trying to control the position from guard on top but Dog is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dog tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dog is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dog has his hands on Hinds's head, controlling the position. Dog wants to stand and escape but Hinds is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hinds wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick misses from Dog. Dog gets the takedown into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Dog working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hinds is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cat Dog dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dog forces Hinds back against the cage and clinches. Dog tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dog tries to pull guard but Hinds holds him up against the cage and eventually Dog drops back down to his feet.
Dog fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hinds swats away the attempt to clinch by Dog. Hinds misses with a takedown and Dog counters by moving into the clinch. Hinds stalling in the clinch but Dog improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dog fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dan Hinds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cat Dog. Dog gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dog is trying to control. Hinds wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dog is looking to stall here but Hinds recovers full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hinds has his hands on Dog's head, controlling the position. Hinds trying to keep a closed guard but Dog is proving a slippery customer.
Hinds is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dog trying to control the position from guard on top but Hinds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hinds looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hinds being controlled here, momentarily. Dog pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hinds is keeping the position for now. Dog sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dog wants to stand but Hinds has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hinds tries to clinch and Dog counters with a one-two to the body. Dog with a lazy takedown attempt and Hinds counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dog! Hinds trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dog is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. Hinds stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hinds shoots and misses and Dog counters with a shoot takedown. Hinds fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hinds is trying to keep Dog in close.
Dog got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hinds has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dog has managed to get both his arms back between Hinds's legs - danger averted. A close second round but Cat Dog will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Dog counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Dog stops a takedown attempt from Hinds.

Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dog shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hinds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dog is pushing down on Hinds's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hinds is fighting to maintain full guard but Dog has managed to sneak the leg through. Dog is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hinds is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dog slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hinds keeping moving, preventing Dog from controlling successfully. Hinds is adopting a defensive guard. Hinds is trying to control the position but Dog postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dog's corner. There ya go! There ya go! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hinds is on top in guard.
Hinds wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving. Dog looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hinds is one step ahead there. Hinds thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dog is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dog has eaten all the pies! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hinds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hinds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dog swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dog keeping moving, preventing Hinds from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dog is pulling down on Hinds's head. It's preventing any offense from Hinds, at least for the moment. Dan Hinds has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cat Dog is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dog is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hinds's half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Cat Dog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
