Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunther Schniewind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schniewind has chosen Śpiewać ucze się as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Schniewind fails with a takedown attempt. King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schniewind keeps the fight on the outside. Schniewind closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Schniewind changes levels and goes for a takedown here. King fights it off and pushes away nicely.
King has managed to clinch.
King tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
King is pressed up against the ropes. Schniewind has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Matt King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunther Schniewind. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from King. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts King, as that shot connected.
King has closed the distance and engaged Schniewind in a clinch.
Schniewind tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. King gets underhooks to prevent Schniewind's takedown attempt.
King leaning his opponent against the ropes. Schniewind has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's one minute gone in the round. King dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. King misses with an elbow strike.
Schniewind lands a right hand. King lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. King has Schniewind pressed against the ropes, preventing Schniewind from circling away and getting back to striking at range. King is stalling here.
King tries a knee to the head but Schniewind blocks it.
King using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Schniewind has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Schniewind makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Schniewind is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Schniewind jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Schniewind gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Schniewind looks to land a body kick but King moved away. King throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
No luck for Schniewind with that takedown attempt. Schniewind pushes King up against the ropes in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schniewind is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. King lands an elbow that stopped Schniewind in his tracks for a moment. King looking to throw knees to the head but Schniewind is blocking nicely.
Schniewind has King pressed against the ropes.
Schniewind tries to pull guard but King holds him up against the ropes and eventually Schniewind drops back down to his feet.
King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Schniewind.
Schniewind trying to control the position but instead, King has worked for underhooks and has pushed Schniewind into the ropes. King leaning his opponent against the ropes. King throws an elbow that misses.
King lands a nice elbow from the clinch. King stalling in the clinch but Schniewind improves position. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Schniewind is trying to work for a single leg takedown but King pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. With the fighters up against the ropes, King throws an elbow but misses. King lands with a short punch from the clinch.
King taking a breather. Schniewind wants to break free but King has control.
King pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Schniewind is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now. King tries to land a knee to the head but Schniewind blocks with his arms.
Schniewind with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
King scores with an uppercut up the middle. King softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Schniewind wants to stall.
King stalling in the clinch but Schniewind improves position. Schniewind is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Schniewind is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now. King lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Schniewind.
Schniewind tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. King smiles and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King lands a jab to the nose. King misses with a double jab.
Schniewind shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side. Schniewind closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Schniewind pushes King against the ropes but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Schniewind looks gassed! King connects with a jab. King is looking to clinch but Schniewind is avoiding it.
King throws and low kick but Schniewind moves out of range easily. A left lands for King.
Schniewind is rocked! King leaves Schniewind with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Schniewind is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. King drives through and clinches with Schniewind against the ropes.
Schniewind fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Schniewind seems to have recovered his senses. Schniewind taking a breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt King dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Schniewind ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Schniewind fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Schniewind shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Schniewind keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. King dips to his left and cracks Schniewind with an uppercut! King circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Schniewind tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! King wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt King!
