Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Alvarado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cho Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marco Alvarado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cho Yamato! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarado fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Yamato. Yamato throws a head kick that misses. Alvarado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yamato's waist but Yamato gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvarado off to one side. Yamato misses with a wild body shot. Yamato throws the kick towards the body but Alvarado avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamato looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Alvarado shoots in for a takedown but Yamato shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Alvarado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yamato lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Marco Alvarado has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Alvarado moves out of range as Yamato throws a body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Alvarado shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamato sprawls well. He's pushed Alvarado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Yamato throws a push kick but Alvarado slaps the foot to one side. The fight stays on the outside here - Alvarado looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yamato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yamato stuffs the takedown. Yamato just misses with a punch to the body.
Alvarado moves out of range of the strikes. Yamato defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alvarado. Yamato swings for the body but Alvarado moves out of range.
Yamato misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alvarado moves out of range as Yamato throws a body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Alvarado looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yamato thumps Alvarado with a low kick. Yamato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Yamato lands a front kick. Yamato tries a head kick but it misses.
Yamato throws a sloppy head kick and Alvarado moves out of range easily. Alvarado blocks a head kick by Yamato.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvarado closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yamato circles away. Yamato buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Alvarado is breathing heavily. Alvarado avoids the head kick by Yamato.
Yamato lets loose with a powerful body kick. Alvarado will feel that in the morning. Yamato keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Alvarado looks for a takedown but Yamato sprawls well. Yamato looks to land a body kick but Alvarado moved away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cho Yamato dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marco Alvarado's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alvarado steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Yamato. That one must have hurt. Yamato looks to score with a jab to the body but Alvarado is just out of range. Yamato scores with a head kick.
Yamato connects with a high kick. Alvarado sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Yamato lands a nice looking kick to the body. Alvarado takes a step back to recover. Yamato lands with a slapping head kick. Cho Yamato is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Yamato - that will leave a mark!
Yamato throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Alvarado's head. Yamato throws a head kick that misses. Marco Alvarado is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alvarado moves out of range of the body kick from Yamato.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yamato.
Yamato throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Whack! Yamato lands a heavy head kick that drops Alvarado. The ref tackles Yamato to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Alvarado was done.
