Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Misho Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Downson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misho Bang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bob Downson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Misho Bang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Downson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Downson misses with a hook. Bang ducked under it nicely. Downson throws a sloppy head kick and Bang moves out of range easily. Downson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bang is looking to reverse the position. Bang is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Downson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Downson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bang tries to clinch up. Bang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bang misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Downson keeps the fight on the outside. Bang throws a jab when Downson was well out of range. Downson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Downson avoids the head kick by Bang.
Bang moves in looking to clinch but Downson pushes him off. Downson cracks a nice hook into Bang's ribs. Downson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bang throws a head kick that misses. A combination from Bang does no damage. Downson throws a head kick but Bang moves out of range.
Downson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bang doesn't seem bothered though. Bang is breathing heavily. Downson takes a swing at Bang's ribcage but misses. Misho Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Downson wants to improve his position but Bang is controlling well.
Bang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Downson!

Bang trying to control but Downson is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Bang. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Downson flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bang goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Downson is on top in guard.
Bang wants to stand but Downson is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Downson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bang has wrist control. Downson wants to control from the top but Bang keeps moving. Bang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Downson is controlling him. Downson tries to free his leg and advance position but Bang is retaining full guard. Downson postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Downson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Bang looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bang falls off balance throwing a combination
and Downson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bang tries to clinch up but Downson circles away and keeps his distance. Downson swinging wilding here.
A left and a right from Downson both land. Nice combination. Bang tries a head kick but it misses.
Downson moves out of range of the body kick. Downson looks to land a combination but Bang avoids it well. Bang closes the distance looking to clinch and Downson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Downson fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bang darts in trying to clinch and Downson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bang tries to clinch up but Downson circles away and keeps his distance. Downson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bang as he avoids it easily. Downson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bang moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Downson lands a lovely overhand right. A nice combination there by Downson.
Misho Bang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Downson looks to throw a body kick and Bang counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Downson catches Bang with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Downson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bang. Bang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Downson is fending him off so far but Bang persists. Nope, Downson circles away and we're back to standing. Downson missing with a left hand there. Bang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bang slips a jab and a cross from Downson.
Bang fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Misho Bang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Downson throws a shot to the body.
Bang fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Downson tests Bang's chin there with a solid looking shot. Downson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Downson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bang to see if he's OK. Downson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bang tries to escape but Downson is in control. Bang is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Downson decides to stand back up. Bang connects with a high kick. Downson gets a takedown into half guard. Downson seems to be working for a kimura but Bang defends the submission attempt. Downson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bang trying to hold on to Downson's head to control him but Downson postures up.
Bang moves into full guard.
Bang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Downson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bang stands up and beckons Downson to join him on the feet. Bang has his takedown stuffed and Downson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Downson scores with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Downson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Downson keeps the fight on the outside. Bang fails to land the takedown. Bang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Downson circles away quickly and effectively. Bang tries to clinch and Downson counters with a nice uppercut. Downson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bang doesn't succeed with the takedown and Downson counters with a straight right hand. Downson moves into the clinch successfully.

Downson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bang wants to stand but Downson is controlling the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Downson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Downson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Downson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Downson trying to control but Bang is working from the bottom. Bob Downson has got the better of the ground game so far. Bang manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Downson is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bang tries to control but Downson wriggling away. Bang is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Downson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Bang avoids the attempt from Downson to control. Bang is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Downson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Downson is trying to escape the mount.
Bang controlling from mount. Bang landing strikes, looking to finish! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bang tries to control but Downson wriggling away. Bang get's back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bang throws a head kick that misses. Bob Downson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Downson scores with a jab. Bang acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bang tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Downson counters with a nice body shot. Downson stalks Bang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bang's face. Bang staggers backwards, shaken. Bang clinches but Downson breaks the clinch and Downson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Downson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bang stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Bang looking to throw knees to the head but Downson is blocking nicely.
Misho Bang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bang tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Downson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Downson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
