Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Todd McArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Fall of Troy - F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.. Todd McArthur has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane pushes McArthur up against the cage in a clinch. McArthur holding his opponent close, against the cage.
McArthur scores with a knee to the head.
A short right from McArthur. Crane tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McArthur smiles and moves away.
Crane tries to close the distance and clinch up but McArthur swats him away and circles back towards the center. Crane tries to clinch but McArthur is having none of it. Crane tries to clinch but McArthur moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Crane is working for takedown but McArthur is calmly controlling the position for now. McArthur gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Crane.
Todd McArthur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Crane. McArthur breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane shoots in and bounces McArthur off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McArthur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McArthur keeping full guard, as Crane tries to pass. McArthur keeping moving, preventing Crane from controlling successfully. McArthur on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McArthur tries to get out of the position. McArthur working for a triangle but Crane defends it easily.
Crane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McArthur is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane throwing strikes but missing. McArthur manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crane manages to get himself to full guard.
Crane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crane lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McArthur! McArthur is desperately trying to improve his position but Crane has a good base and remains in mount. McArthur throwing hammer fists to the chest of Crane. What's that going to do exactly? Poor strikes thrown by Crane there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McArthur tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Crane. Crane throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Crane manages to capitalize on a mistake by McArthur to take his back! McArthur rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Crane throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Crane is trying to control. McArthur wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. McArthur gets back to full guard.

McArthur preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McArthur is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McArthur scoring with strikes but Crane is staying in there. McArthur landing strikes from the mount. Crane flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
McArthur scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Crane?
McArthur wants to control the pace but Crane is squirming around nicely. McArthur has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McArthur goes for an armbar but Crane turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Crane. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McArthur trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Todd McArthur dominated that round. That's time! McArthur's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Crane shoots for a double leg takedown but McArthur sprawls well. He's pushed Crane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McArthur stuffs the takedown. McArthur changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McArthur lands a nice forearm strike. McArthur grinds an elbow into Crane's temple. McArthur landing strikes. McArthur lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Crane down.
A big shot lands for McArthur! That's hurt Crane! Will he recover? McArthur fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
