The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has johnson pinned against the cage. johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
johnson gets the takedown into side control.
Daniels can't do much from the bottom here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth.
johnson tries to advance to mount but Daniels denies him.
Daniels is looking to work his way out of this bad position but johnson is controlling him well.
johnson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Daniels looks calm but he's in trouble here. johnson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Daniels is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! johnson lets go of the hold and Daniels can pop his arm back in it's socket.
