Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Rominick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Rominick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Jensen! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rominick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mark Rominick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jensen looks for a takedown but Rominick sprawls well. Jensen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jensen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rominick tests Jensen's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Rominick looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rominick stuffs the takedown attempt from Jensen. Jensen gets slowly back to his feet. Mark Rominick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leroy Jensen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rominick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jensen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jensen drops back looking for a leg! Rominick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rominick manages to kick Jensen off! Jensen jumps back into Rominick's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jensen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jensen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rominick looking for a guillotine here but Jensen defends easily.
Rominick is trying to keep Jensen in close.
Rominick had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jensen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rominick Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jensen's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rominick has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Jensen is trying to defend against the choke here but Rominick has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Rominick Tightens the hold and Jensen taps out furiously! Rominick displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mark Rominick!
