Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rene Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Rua!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wood on the side of the head.
Wood drops his hands momentarily and Rua takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rua connects with a high kick.

It looks like Rene Wood has been cut.
Wood just misses with a punch to the body.
Wood misses with a body kick.
Rua sends Wood crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rua is motioning to the referee to let Wood up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Wood is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rua swinging wilding here.
Oh Wood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Rua throws a looping overhand right but Wood ducks down to avoid it.

Rua drives through and clinches with Wood against the cage.

Rua breaks from the clinch.
Rua feints a jab and as Wood dips his head, Rua unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Wood right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Wood falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Rua smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
