Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Savs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Grosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Savs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Todd Grosh! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savs decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Grosh wants to get back to his feet.
Savs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grosh keeps working. Grosh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Savs is working away from the top position though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Savs stands up from half guard. Grosh shoots in but no luck this time. Savs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grosh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Savs lands a decent elbow from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savs lands a few punches from side control. Savs tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Check out the look on Savs's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's one minute gone in the round. Grosh wants to control but Savs postures up. Grosh takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Savs trying to control the action but Grosh is working from the bottom. Grosh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Savs wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Savs tries to advance to mount but can't. Grosh wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Savs working the ground and pound. Savs is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Grosh's shoulder. That is not cool. Savs is trying to get an arm triangle but Grosh is defending well. Savs is breathing heavily. Savs trying to control the action but Grosh is working from the bottom. Grosh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savs working away. Savs scores with a couple of short elbows. Grosh is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Savs asserts his dominance and retains side control. Savs advances to full mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Grosh tries to buck Savs off but he can't manage it. Grosh is in a horrible position here. Savs smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Savs avoids the attempt from Grosh to control. Savs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savs scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Grosh?
Grosh manages to regain half guard. Good work. Savs stands up out of the half guard. Savs misses with a wild body shot. Savs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Grosh wants to stand and escape but Savs is having none of it. Savs stands up and waves to Grosh to follow him. Savs looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grosh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Savs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Grosh's head. Savs looking to pass the guard. Grosh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Savs is controlling him. Grosh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grosh trying to control the position.
Savs sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Savs dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Savs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Savs working away. Savs just content to control the position. Savs lands some shots froms side control. Grosh is wriggling around trying to escape but Savs has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Grosh taps out and Savs picks up the big win! Great work there by Savs!
