Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dick lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Mauricio Silva has been cut.
Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
dick controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
dick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
dick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
dick pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now.

dick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
dick postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
dick closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

dick is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Silva's shoulder. That is not cool.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but dick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
dick looks gassed!
dick shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and dick counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. dick is working away from the top position though.
Silva manages to get to full guard.

Silva is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! dick has his hands clasped together but Silva extends an breaks dick 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Silva.
