Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willis Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Beastie boys - Sabotage as his entrance music. Peter Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Willis Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Lee! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lee's hands. Lee gets a clinch. Lee stalling.
Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Young shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Young keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lee slips a straight right by Young. Young throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range. Young shoots in but no luck this time. Young throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. Young needs to keep his hands up - Lee had a free shot at his head there. Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Young paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee clinches up with Young and pushes him back against the cage. Nice body punch from Lee. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee manages to break the clinch.
A slow jab from Lee misses its intended target. Lee staying out of range there. A big right from Young misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Young was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Young. Young staying out of range there. Young throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Lee. Lee moves into the clinch. Nice body punch from Lee - that landed with a thud.
Lee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Young up against the cage. Lee working some nice short punches in the clinch. Lee lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lee has Young pushed against the cage. Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willis Young. That's going to take a lot out of him. Young takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Young is breathing heavily. Young shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Young showed some decent athleticism there. Young sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to get to full guard but Young has control of the leg. Young perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lee is trying to maintain the position but Young is very close to passing his half guard. Young perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Young moves into full mount! Lee won't be happy about that! Lee tries to lock up and control but Young gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Young controlling his opponent. Lee wants to hold on but Young pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young looking to control and managing it successfully. Young has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Willis Young just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Young uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Young throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Young is defended easily by Lee. Young shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Young was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lee is desperately trying to improve his position but Young has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee tries to lock up and control but Young gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Young controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Lee dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A punch combination from Lee misses. Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lee throws a series of punches but Young avoids them all with ease. Young digs a good hook to Lee's body.

Young stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Young lands with a straight right. Lee didn't see that one coming. Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Young moves out of range of the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Young will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice defenses there by Young. Young throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it. Young looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willis Young. That's going to take a lot out of him. Young swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lee. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Young. Young gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lee is trying to defend but Young finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lee is looking to improve his position.
Young seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lee is looking for a sweep. Young is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Young controlling the action here. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Young is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer. Young is controlling the pace.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Willis Young just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Young drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Young stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position. Young pushing down on Lee's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Still in half guard, Young seems content to control. Young prevents Lee from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Young takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lee is breathing heavily. Young performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Willis Young dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Young closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lee to the mat! Lee manages to get full guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Willis Young just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lee has managed to clinch.
Lee lands a left hand.
Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Young moves away from the strike by Lee. Young bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards. Young on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lee lands with a nice body punch. Young drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee being controlled for a moment. Young trying to control the position but Lee is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Willis Young just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nice cross by Young. Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lee keeping moving, preventing Young from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth. Young looking to pass the guard. Young trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lee misses with a straight right. Young takes a shot right to the bread basket. Young shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Young was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape. Young takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Willis Young showed his dominance in that final round. I think Young has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
