Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, DeSean JackSon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Ramos! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos clinches up with JackSon and pushes him back against the cage. JackSon tries to pull guard but Ramos holds him up against the cage and eventually JackSon drops back down to his feet.
JackSon breaks from the clinch.
JackSon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tony Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramos stuffs the takedown attempt from JackSon. JackSon gets slowly back to his feet. Ramos throws a right hand that JackSon ducks under and follows up with a left that JackSon also avoids with ease. Ramos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in JackSon's half guard. JackSon wants to improve his position but Ramos is controlling well.

JackSon regains full guard. Nicely done. Ramos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ramos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ramos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. JackSon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramos is one step ahead there. Ramos is posturing up here but JackSon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ramos tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ramos has to tap! Slick submission there by JackSon!
