The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Johnson finds it's way round the side to connect with Yoshida's head.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Yoshida.
Yoshida is rocked!
Johnson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Yoshida to his feet.
Yoshida is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Yoshida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Yoshida closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yoshida lands in his opponent's guard.
Yoshida tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
Yoshida seems to have recovered his senses.
Yoshida is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yoshida is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yoshida tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily
and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yoshida thinking.
Yoshida slips under a jab from Johnson.
Yoshida throws a lazy uppercut
and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Yoshida.
Yoshida gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson counters with a straight right hand.
Alejandro Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hidehiko Yoshida.
Yoshida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Johnson thows a body shot but no joy.
Yoshida closes the distance and clinches.

Yoshida tries for a takedown but Johnson manages to get underhooks.
Yoshida goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson cracks Yoshida with an open hand slap.
Yoshida gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yoshida's guard.
Yoshida is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Johnson has his hands clasped together but Yoshida extends an breaks Johnson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Yoshida.
