Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takuya Mori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dae Jung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takuya Mori! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dae Jung Kim! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mori throws a right and a left that Kim avoids nicely. Mori throws and low kick but Kim moves out of range easily. Kim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mori as he avoids it easily. Mori swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mori. Kim avoids a kick to the body.
Mori is looking to chop away at Kim's legs. Mori swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mori's guard now. Kim being controlled here momentarily. Kim passes Mori's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mori is looking for a sweep. Kim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mori looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kim is just content to waste time from the top position. Mori takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mori looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kim tries to free his leg and advance position but Mori is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mori keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mori as he avoids it easily. Takuya Mori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dae Jung Kim. Good work by Kim as he checks the leg kick. Mori lands a head kick!
Mori slaps away a takedown attempt from Kim, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mori lands a front kick. Kim looks gassed! Mori throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mori throws a jab when Kim was well out of range. Takuya Mori is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mori looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mori pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Mori just misses with a punch to the body.

Mori misses with the body kick and Kim counters with a takedown into side control. Mori is looking for a sweep. Mori on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mori tries to get out of the position. Mori prevents Kim from improving position. Mori throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori throws a sloppy body shot
and Kim counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mori! Mori manages to regain half guard. Good work. Kim looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mori has his hands clasped together around Kim's back. He's all about the action. Mori makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mori. Mori controlling the position. Mori wants to sweep here but Kim controlling him for the moment. Kim missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mori has his hands on Kim's head, controlling the position. Mori is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kim is controlling him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mori manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kim manages to get himself to full guard.
Mori wants to get up but he can't break Kim's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dae Jung Kim will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mori misses with the combination.
Kim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kim avoids the head kick by Mori.
Kim feints and as Mori raises his hands in defense, Kim changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kim tries to free his leg and advance position but Mori is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mori is on top in guard.

Kim being controlled here, momentarily. Kim is breathing heavily. Mori pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mori slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mori wants to stand but Kim is controlling his posture from full guard. Mori stays in close to Kim's body and controls the position. Mori trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mori sitting in guard here, content to control. Kim manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kim lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mori hang on? Kim prevents Mori from getting the reversal. Mori slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kim wants to take a breather but Mori is having none of it. Mori is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kim's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kim's back! Mori controlling from the back. Mori working for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori is not going to allow Kim to sit and survive in this position. Kim tries to escape but Mori has the hooks in and won't let him break free. I would not like to be Kim right now.
Dae Jung Kim has got the better of the ground game so far. Kim breaks Mori's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mori keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Kim stops Mori from standing up. Mori is controlling Kim's posture.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Takuya Mori just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mori swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kim sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kim throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Takuya Mori is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mori tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mori tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takuya Mori dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mori. Kim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mori's waist but Mori gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kim off to one side. Kim avoids a kick to the body.
Mori throws a push kick but Kim slaps the foot to one side. Mori lands a head kick. Kim smiles back at him and beckons him forward. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kim is defended easily by Mori. Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Takuya Mori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dae Jung Kim. Mori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mori misses with a body kick. Mori looks to land a body kick but Kim moved away.

Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mori goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kim fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mori throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kim's head. Kim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mori swivels and escapes. Mori tries to land a front kick but Kim steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Mori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mori fails to land with a series of punches.
Kim blocks a leg kick. Mori connects with a jab. Kim shoots in but Mori avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mori throws a wild body kick that Kim sees coming a mile off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mori pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A combination from Mori does no damage. Mori swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kim counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kim. Mori uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mori looks to land a right hand but Kim moved out of range. Mori is looking to land body kicks. Takuya Mori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mori lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kim takes a step back to recover. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mori looks for the body kick but Kim saw that one coming. Both fighters circling a little - Mori finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori scores with a body shot.
Mori will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mori throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mori looks to throw a body kick and Kim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mori's guard now. Kim wants to control from the top but Mori keeps moving. Mori is pulling down on Kim's head. It's preventing any offense from Kim, at least for the moment. Mori is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mori is working hard here to advance position. Mori manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mori controlling from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mori get's back to his feet. Mori leaves Kim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Takuya Mori showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mori has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
