Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blaze might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Dropkick Murphys-The Warriors Code. Johnny Blaze could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Mitchell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze drives through with a takedown into guard.
Blaze sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Blaze loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mitchell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blaze seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
