Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blake Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolando Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ritter's entrance music is Enter Sandman. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Ritter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rolando Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws out a loose jab but Ritter uses good head movement to avoid it. Ritter throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ritter.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside. Gracie thows a body shot but no joy. Gracie jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ritter shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ritter is looking to clinch. Ritter looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Ritter tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie throws a body punch but Ritter moves out of range.

Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ritter was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie. Ritter throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rolando Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ritter shoots in but no luck this time. Gracie connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ritter. Ritter circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gracie takes a swing at Ritter's ribcage but misses. Gracie lands a slapping body shot.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Ritter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie cracks Ritter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ritter's half guard. Ritter wants to get back to full guard. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ritter keeps working. Ritter throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie working over Ritter with some ground and pound. Ritter looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ritter is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.

Ritter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. Ritter is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gracie wants to take a breather but Ritter is having none of it. Ritter trying to control from the bottom.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ritter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ritter has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ritter defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. You get the feeling that Ritter really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ritter regains half guard. Ritter is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Ritter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. Ritter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gracie stalling away here and it's allowed Ritter to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Ritter will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie stops Ritter from standing up. Gracie lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ritter keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rolando Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ritter has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is breathing heavily. Ritter tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie lands a decent elbow from side control. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ritter, who protects the arm well. Gracie is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ritter looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gracie gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ritter is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gracie lets go of the hold and Ritter can pop his arm back in it's socket.
