Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cocaine Blues. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tim Johns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Skinner! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johns keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Johns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Skinner moves away. Johns swats away the attempt to clinch by Skinner. Skinner on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Skinner moves out of range as Johns strikes. Johns moves away from the strike by Skinner. Johns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skinner has time to react. Johns shoots in looking for a takedown. Skinner tries to sprawl out of it but Johns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Skinner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Johns stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Johns fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Johns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skinner was well out of range. Poor timing from Johns. Skinner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johns swivels and escapes. Johns will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Skinner misses with a low kick. Johns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skinner. Skinner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Skinner shoots in for a takedown but Johns shows good takedown defense. Johns blocks a head kick by Skinner.
Johns lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johns. Johns looks to land a combination. Skinner sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Skinner looks gassed! Johns scores with a leg kick.
Johns throws a right hand that Skinner ducks under and follows up with a left that Skinner also avoids with ease. Skinner shoots in for a double leg but Johns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tim Johns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Skinner. Johns misses with a wild combination.
Johns dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Skinner on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johns. Johns obviously looking to wear him down.
Johns scores with a nice head shot. Johns connects with a body shot. Johns scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Tim Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johns lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Skinner needs to keep his hands up - Johns had a free shot at his head there. Johns lands with a nice body punch. Skinner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johns to score with a decent uppercut. Skinner on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Johns wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A slapping leg kick lands for Johns.
Johns lands with a nice body punch. A punch lands to the side of Skinner 's head but he takes it in his stride. Johns scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Skinner is trying desperately to land a takedown but Johns is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Skinner. Nice body punch from Johns. Johns with a nice cross. Johns lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. No joy there for Johns, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johns stuns Skinner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Johns tries to bum rush Skinner with a series of wild strikes but Skinner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Good exchange - Johns coming out on top. Johns scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Johns fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johns takes the fight into the clinch. Johns breaks from the clinch.
Skinner tries to clinch up and Johns counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Skinner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Johns is trying to break the clinch but Skinner has him pressed against the cage. Johns breaks from the clinch.
Skinner shoots in for a takedown but Johns shows good takedown defense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johns swats away the attempt to clinch by Skinner. Johns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Skinner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Skinner somewhat. Johns lands with a cross. Johns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skinner was well out of range. Poor timing from Johns. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johns misses with a wild combination.
Skinner thows a leg kick but Johns checks it and Johns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johns misses with the combination.
Skinner wants to clinch but Johns slips to the side and Johns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Johns dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johns closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Johns taking a breather. Skinner lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Johns kicks Skinner off and gets back to his feet. Skinner tries to clinch and Johns counters with a straight right hand. Johns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Skinner with that takedown attempt. Johns throws a body punch but Skinner moves out of range. Skinner clinches. Skinner is breathing heavily. Johns manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Johns breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner scores with a kick to the midsection. Skinner wants to clinch but Johns slips to the side and Johns counters with a left and a right that stings Skinner. Skinner has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Skinner takes a body punch but keeps moving. Skinner tries to move into range but Johns moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Johns misses with a double jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Johns!
Johns circles away from the clinch attempt and Johns counters by moving into the clinch. Johns has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Johns breaks the clinch.
Skinner tries to clinch but Johns moves away and Johns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Skinner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Skinner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Johns counters with a stiff right hand. Skinner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johns as he avoids it easily. Tim Johns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johns scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Johns lands a nice leg kick that just misses Skinner's sensitive parts. This has been an exciting period of action! Johns is looking to land body kicks. Johns closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johns has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Johns scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Skinner doesn't seem bothered though. Skinner gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johns gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johns is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Skinner is controlling him. Skinner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Johns dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Skinner pushes Johns up against the cage in a clinch. Johns breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Skinner wants to clinch and Johns counters with a good, hard body kick but Skinner shrugs it off. Tim Johns is winning the standup battle so far. Johns circles away from the clinch attempt and Johns counters with a series of strikes. Skinner will be more careful next time no doubt. Johns thuds his right hand into Skinner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Johns goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Johns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Skinner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Skinner tries to clinch but Johns is having none of it. Skinner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johns sprawls well. Johns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Skinner gets slowly back to his feet. Skinner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Johns avoids the head kick by Skinner.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Johns, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johns pushes Skinner away with a front kick. Johns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skinner has time to react. Johns looks to land a combination but Skinner avoids it well. Skinner slaps away a takedown attempt from Johns, before circling back to the center of the mat. Skinner gets a takedown into half guard. Johns kicks off Skinner and gets to his feet.

Skinner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Johns is looking to slow Skinner down with leg kicks. Johns blocks a head kick by Skinner.
Johns lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Skinner at a distance.
Johns works Skinner's body with a nice hook. Johns throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Skinner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johns scores with a crisp jab that stopped Skinner in his tracks. Johns works the jab nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johns looks to land a body kick but Skinner moved away. Johns throws a right and a left that both miss. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skinner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Johns - the referee stops the clock and Skinner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Johns. Skinner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Skinner tries to clinch letting Johns counter with a right hand. Johns lands a slapping body shot.
Skinner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johns gets caught flat footed, as Skinner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Johns is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Johns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johns is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johns avoids it really well and circles away. Johns dips to his left and cracks Skinner with an uppercut! Tim Johns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A jab lands there for Johns. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Skinner. Bobby Skinner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Skinner thows a body shot but no joy. Good shot there by Johns. Skinner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johns defends it nicely. Tim Johns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Skinner. Skinner takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johns lunges at Skinner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Skinner's hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Johns showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johns, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
