Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Kenneth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Kenneth is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nicholas Kenneth! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenneth shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fox defends it nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Fox misses the target. Fox closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kenneth did well to prevent Fox getting side control. Fox is working for a submission of some sort.
Still in half guard, Fox seems content to control. Kenneth is refusing to be controlled, as Fox sits in half guard. Fox performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fox wants to control but Kenneth is keeping him busy. Kenneth looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kenneth looks gassed! Fox with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenneth makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kenneth. Kenneth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Kenneth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fox trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fox got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kenneth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fox has managed to get both his arms back between Kenneth's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kenneth keeping moving, preventing Fox from controlling successfully. Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fox throws a hook to the side of Kenneth's head but Kenneth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fox gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fox tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kenneth knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fox moves nicely into side control. Fox tries for a kimura but Kenneth is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fox has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fox trying to control the position but Kenneth is working away. Fox wants to control for a moment but Kenneth uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kenneth is working for a kimura but Fox is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kenneth is working for a kimura but Fox is defending it quite comfortably.
Fox wants to control but Kenneth is keeping busy.
Fox looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fox could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are battling for position here. Fox manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fox not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fox missing with a left hand there. Kenneth was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fox scores with a takedown into Kenneth's guard. Fox wants to control from the top but Kenneth keeps moving. Fox stands and throws Kenneth's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fox trying to control the position but Kenneth is working away. Fox tries to move to mount but Kenneth blocks the move with his legs. Fox wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kenneth, who protects the arm well. Kenneth is pushing Fox's head away, looking to escape. Fox manages to hold on to the position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kenneth is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kenneth regains half guard. Fox is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kenneth sees it coming and defends easily. Kenneth actively working from the bottom here. Kenneth is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fox pulls his head out easily. Fox is pressing down on Kenneth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kenneth is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fox passes to full mount! Fox trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kenneth tries to reverse the position but Fox maintains control. Kenneth is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Fox looking to control and managing it successfully. Fox looking to control but Kenneth is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kenneth slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox is just content to waste time from the top position. Kenneth takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Fox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kenneth swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kenneth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fox trying to control but Kenneth is working from the bottom. Fox is really struggling to control Kenneth but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kenneth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fox can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenneth had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kenneth Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fox's back instead. Fox just trying to survive but Kenneth is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Fox tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Fox tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kenneth is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fox is surviving well by controlling Kenneth's body position as best he can. Fox tries to hold on but Kenneth pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fox can't escape the position.

A close second round but Nicholas Kenneth will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
A jab from Fox finds it's way through Kenneth's defenses. Fox throws a jab but it's blocked by Kenneth. Fox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kenneth looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fox controlling the action here. Kenneth is not content to let Fox control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Steve Fox just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Kenneth moves out of range of the strikes. Fox lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kenneth's guard. Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Kenneth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fox passes Kenneth's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fox moves into full mount! Kenneth won't be happy about that! Fox looking to control but Kenneth is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fox goes for an armbar but Kenneth turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kenneth. Fox is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenneth preventing the sweep. Fox working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenneth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kenneth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kenneth stopping the sweep attempt from Fox. Kenneth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kenneth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fox keeping full guard, as Kenneth tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kenneth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kenneth tries to free his leg and advance position but Fox is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kenneth ducks under a wild hook from Fox. Kenneth misses with a takedown and Fox counters by moving into the clinch. Fox stalling the fight.
Fox ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fox no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kenneth drops back looking for a leg! Fox is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fox manages to kick Kenneth off! Kenneth jumps back into Fox's guard. Kenneth wants to pass the guard but Fox is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fox wants to hit a switch here but Kenneth passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fox there! Fox is trying to escape the mount.
Kenneth jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fox manages to avoid the submission attempt. Fox is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kenneth's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kenneth wants to work for an arm triangle but Fox is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Fox showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
