The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bueno is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Monroe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. bueno did well to prevent Monroe getting side control.
bueno is not content to let Monroe control the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Monroe lands a nice short elbow.
bueno wants to get back to full guard.
Monroe seems to be looking for submissions.
Monroe stops bueno from getting back to his feet.

bueno tries to hold on but Monroe pushes him away.
Monroe is landing with some decent strikes but bueno is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
