Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talib Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Talib Singh will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dusty Johnston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Talib Singh! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Singh looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Johnston looks up at the clock and then as Singh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Johnston smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Johnston cracks Singh with a big right hand but Singh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Johnston landing a few strikes. Singh trying to remain calm as Johnston controls from the top position. Johnston seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Singh for as long as he can get away with. Johnston has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

 The referee stands the fighters back up. Dusty Johnston just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Johnston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Singh's guard. Johnston with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Johnston scoring with some ground and pound. Johnston slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Johnston has hold of Singh's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Singh manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Johnston takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Johnston postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Singh looks a forlorn figure.
