The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diehard throws a right hand that Powell ducks under and follows up with a left that Powell also avoids with ease.
Diehard throws a leg kick but Powell sees it coming and moves out of range.
Diehard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Powell's calf.
Diehard tries to clinch but Powell is having none of it.
Powell gets the takedown into side control.
Diehard is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Powell asserts his dominance and retains side control.
