Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Durant lands in his opponent's guard.
Smirnov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smirnov is on top in guard.
Smirnov wants to control from the top but Durant keeps moving.
Durant working a defensive guard here.
Smirnov stands and steps away. Durant gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Durant looks for a takedown but Smirnov sprawls well.
Smirnov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Durant.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Durant fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smirnov avoids it really well and circles away.
Smirnov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Durant is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smirnov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boris Smirnov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonso Durant.
Durant looks gassed!
Durant looks to land a body kick but Smirnov moved away.

It looks like Alonso Durant has been cut.
Smirnov lands with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Durant walks into a stiff left hand from Smirnov.
Durant drops his hands momentarily and Smirnov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Smirnov thuds his right hand into Durant's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Smirnov is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Durant takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Smirnov lands with a right that hurts Durant. Durant looks to clinch but Smirnov throws a short knee that drops Durant. This one is all over!
