Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waeg Luchung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklyn Vance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vance tries to close the distance and clinch up but Luchung swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Luchung misses with a jab, cross combination.
Luchung throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vance is looking to clinch but Luchung is avoiding it.
Vance throws a hook but Luchung blocks it.
Vance slips a jab and a cross from Luchung.
Vance shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Luchung manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Vance fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Luchung sprawls well initially but Vance persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Vance is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Luchung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vance thows a huge punch but Luchung dodges it nicely.
Luchung wants to control but Vance is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Vance is keen to just control but Luchung is a slippery customer.
Vance is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Luchung is just riding it out for now. Vance eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vance shoots in and drives through. Luchung sprawls well.

Luchung throws out a loose jab but Vance uses good head movement to avoid it.

A jab-cross combination lands for Luchung and sends Vance crashing to the mat! Luchung follows him down to the mat - Vance regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Luchung decides to stand up.
Vance shoots in looking for a takedown. Luchung tries to sprawl out of it but Vance keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Luchung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Waeg Luchung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luchung stalks Vance and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vance's face. Vance staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Vance takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Luchung, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
