Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Eldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Law!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Eldridge!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eldridge is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Law.
Eldridge tries a low kick but Law avoids it.
Law swats away the attempt to clinch by Eldridge.
Law lands with a nice combination. Eldridge backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Michael Eldridge has been cut.
Law looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Eldridge swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Eldridge fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eldridge on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Law, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Law goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Law throws a series of punches but Eldridge moves out of range.
Law will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Law throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from Law does no damage.
Eldridge fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eldridge fails with a takedown attempt.
Law lands with a nice body punch.

Eldridge showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Law.
The Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Eldridge stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Eldridge takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Eldridge looks gassed!
A punch combination from Law misses.
Eldridge bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Law tries to bench press Eldridge off him but Eldridge keeps the position.
Eldridge thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Law sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Eldridge thows a huge punch but Law dodges it nicely.
Eldridge thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Law to regain full guard.
Law has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eldridge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Eldridge is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Law Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Eldridge's back instead.

Eldridge looking very determined here, making life difficult for Law.
Law is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Eldridge defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Law looking to hold on to the position here but Eldridge rolls and ends up regaining guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Eldridge wants to clinch.
Law looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Law counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Eldridge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Law napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Eldridge in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Eldridge postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Law gets back to half guard.
Eldridge not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Law wants to get back to full guard.
Eldridge working the head and body with strikes.
Law regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Eldridge.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Law working for a triangle but Eldridge defends it easily.
Eldridge stopping the sweep attempt from Law.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Law dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Michael Eldridge's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Eldridge scores with a takedown into Law's guard.
Eldridge has gone for a leg lock! Law slips out almost immediately though and dives into Eldridge's guard.
Law trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Eldridge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Law pushes down on Eldridge's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Eldridge is breathing heavily.

Law seems to be working for a kimura but Eldridge defends the submission attempt.
Law is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Eldridge reverses the position - he's now on top in Law's guard.
Law working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eldridge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eldridge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Eldridge loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Eldridge throwing strikes but missing.
Law bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eldridge's guard.
Law will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Law works to advance to full mount. Eldridge defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Eldridge has given up his back here. Will Law look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Law is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Eldridge has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Eldridge wants to get back to his feet.
Law is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Eldridge knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Eldridge for a finish.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Eldridge needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.
Law has the hooks in. Eldridge is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eldridge defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Law's arms.
Law is trying to stick to Eldridge's back but Eldridge is turning into Law. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Law's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Eldridge.

That was a close second round but I would say that The Law will probably get the nod.

That's time! Law's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Eldridge looks for a takedown but Law sprawls well.
Law connects with a single shot there.
Law misses with a double jab
and Eldridge counters by clinching up.

Eldridge is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The Law has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Eldridge.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Law.
Law looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
A nice left hand lands by Law.
Law is looking to break free of the clinch but Eldridge has double underhooks.
Law digs a right hand into Eldridge's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Eldridge's gas tank.

Eldridge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Law throws a combination that misses
and Eldridge decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Law's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eldridge is working Law over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Law looking to hit a scissor sweep but Eldridge is one step ahead there.
Eldridge is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Eldridge throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Law works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Law is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Eldridge postures up in Law's guard and throws a big left but Law blocks it.
Michael Eldridge has got the better of the ground game so far.
Eldridge is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Law is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Law has escaped and now he's on top!

Eldridge looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The Law is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Law is trying to get an arm triangle but Eldridge is defending well.
Law decides to stand back up. Law steps back and let's Eldridge get back to his feet.
Michael Eldridge has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Eldridge shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Law lands a nice looking body shot.
Law throws a right and a left that both miss.
Law throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Law is looking to wear down Eldridge with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A right-left combo lands from Law.
And that's the end of the fight!
The Law showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Law, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
