The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horz clinches up against the cage.
Alexandre is working for takedown but Horz is calmly controlling the position for now.
Horz goes for a takedown attempt but Alexandre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Horz has Alexandre up against the cage in a clinch.
Horz wants a takedown but no success here.
Alexandre pulls Horz into guard.
Horz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Alexandre is concentrating on defense, preventing Horz from advancing position.

Horz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alexandre is looking to escape.
Alexandre is desperately trying to improve his position but Horz has a good base and remains in mount.

Horz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Alexandre has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Alexandre!
Alexandre missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Horz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alexandre stacks Horz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alexandre!
Alexandre wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Horz, who protects the arm well.
Horz tries to bench press Alexandre off him but Alexandre keeps the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Horz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Alexandre working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Horz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Alexandre prevents Horz from standing back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horz tries to score with a low kick but Alexandre moves his leg out of the way.
Horz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Horz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Horz is just content to waste time from the top position. Alexandre takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Alexandre is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Horz has his hands clasped together but Alexandre extends an breaks Horz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Alexandre.
