Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fintch Skeeter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Potter! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skeeter takes the fight into the clinch. Skeeter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Potter managing to block the knees to the body from Skeeter.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Skeeter as Potter tries to tie him up. Potter has had enough of the clinch but Skeeter keeps him there for the moment. Skeeter dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Skeeter digs a right hand underneath Potter's ribcage. Potter let out a lung full of air as it connected. Potter dodges an elbow strike from Skeeter.
Skeeter breaks from the clinch.
Skeeter pushes Potter up against the cage in a clinch. Skeeter pushes off an throws an elbow but Potter leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Potter tries to pull guard but Skeeter won't allow it.
Skeeter keeps control of Potter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Potter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Skeeter avoids it. Skeeter slows down the pace here.
Skeeter breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter shoots for a takedown but Skeeter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Potter closes the distance and clinches up with Skeeter, looking for a takedown. Potter pushes Skeeter against the cage but Skeeter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fintch Skeeter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Potter. Nice takedown defense from Skeeter. No joy for Potter on that attempt. Skeeter moves into the clinch. Potter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Skeeter just stands there and leans against the cage. Skeeter is struggling to control the position. A looping hook to the body misses from Potter. Skeeter does a little dance to reset his feet. Skeeter rushes Potter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Skeeter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Skeeter forces Potter back against the cage and clinches. Skeeter gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Potter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Skeeter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Potter is tightening it up a little... Skeeter has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Skeeter reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Skeeter taps out! nice BJJ there by Potter!
