Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Choakaho Savage!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bija shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savage sprawls well. Savage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bija gets slowly back to his feet.
Bija fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Savage looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bija shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bija shoots in for a double leg but Savage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Bija. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bija misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bija throws a body punch but Savage moves out of range.

Jordan Bija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Savage takes the fight into the clinch.
Savage's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bija tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Savage wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Savage is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bija knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bija can't do much from the bottom here.

Bija is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Savage off and has taken his back!
Savage trying to control the hands but Bija won't let him.

Savage is trying to defend against the choke here but Bija has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Bija Tightens the hold and Savage taps out furiously! Bija displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
