The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mycock looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mycock's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mycock duly obliges.
Blue is rocked!
It looks like Johnny Blue has been cut.
Blue doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Mycock counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Oh Blue is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blue looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mycock is one step ahead there.
Mycock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Blue throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mycock escapes and throws Blue's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blue on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blue tries to get out of the position.
Blue is breathing heavily.

Mycock avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
