Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boushay's waist but Boushay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Madeira off to one side.
Madeira has a takedown stuffed.
Boushay scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Madeira doesn't seem bothered though.
Boushay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Madeira looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boushay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Joao Madeira has been cut.
Boushay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Madeira blocks a head kick by Boushay.
Boushay lands a jab to Madeira's midsection.
Boushay tries a head kick but it misses.
Boushay drops Madeira with a beautiful combination! Madeira stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Boushay is looking for the KO!
Madeira is rocked!
Boushay steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Madeira is out on his feet! Boushay sets himself and nearly takes Madeira's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bobby Boushay!
