The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Emelianenko shoots in but no luck this time.
Junior forces Emelianenko back against the cage and clinches.
Emelianenko is trying to force a seperation but Junior has the dominant position.
Emelianenko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Emelianenko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Junior looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Junior looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Junior!

Emelianenko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Junior is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Emelianenko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Junior's back instead.

Emelianenko is trying to stick to Junior's back but Junior is turning into Emelianenko. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Emelianenko's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Junior.

Junior changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Emelianenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Emelianenko manages to work his way to half guard, despite Junior's best efforts.
Junior wants to free his trapped foot but Emelianenko is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Junior thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Emelianenko has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Junior is looking to control Emelianenko but Emelianenko is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Junior lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Emelianenko.
Emelianenko is trying to get back to his feet but Junior has full control of the position and if anything, Emelianenko has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Junior is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

You can see the frustration on Emelianenko's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
