Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Cavalera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bengan sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sapp has chosen Dmx as his entrance music. Bengan sapp is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavalera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with sapp but sapp pushes him off and we're back to square one.
sapp looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
sapp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cavalera fails with a takedown attempt.

Cavalera looks to land a combination. sapp sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Cavalera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says sapp as he avoids it easily.

sapp is trying to trip Cavalera. He has hold of a leg but Cavalera is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. sapp persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

sapp stands up over Cavalera, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Cavalera working a defensive guard but sapp manages to pass into side control anyway.

Cavalera wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
You can see the frustration on Cavalera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cavalera explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Cavalera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and sapp counters with a nice double leg into guard.
sapp wants to get up but he can't break Cavalera's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

sapp missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cavalera looking for a guillotine here but sapp defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
sapp wants to pass the guard but Cavalera is keeping the position.
Cavalera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

sapp with a flurry of punches that miss.
sapp postures up.
sapp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cavalera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, sapp has managed to get both his arms back between Cavalera's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
sapp tries to stand but Cavalera is controlling from the bottom.
sapp is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cavalera has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. sapp is looking to defend but Cavalera has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for sapp! Cavalera pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, sapp taps out and this one is all over!
