Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Red Velouer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Takiez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velouer slips a jab from Takiez.

Takiez closes the distance and pushes Velouer back into the cage.
Velouer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Takiez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Takiez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Velouer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Takiez to the mat. Takiez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Velouer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Takiez's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Velouer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Takiez defends it well.

Velouer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Takiez is just riding it out for now. Velouer eventually gives up the hold.

Takiez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Velouer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Velouer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Velouer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Takiez defend it? Velouer steps over the head and cranks it - Takiez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Velouer!
