Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bonezzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bamber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bonezzi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Monster by Skillet. John Bamber will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Bonezzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Bamber! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bamber closes the distance and clinches up with Bonezzi, looking for a takedown. Bamber pushes Bonezzi against the cage but Bonezzi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bamber tries to clinch but Bonezzi moves out of range. Bamber fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bamber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bamber is looking to clinch. Bonezzi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bamber. Jon Bonezzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bamber. The fight stays on the outside here - Bonezzi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bonezzi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bonezzi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bamber keeps working. Bamber wants to get back to his feet. Bamber looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bonezzi trying to mount his opponent but Bamber defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bamber is staying active underneath Bonezzi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bonezzi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bamber on the ground. Bonezzi is just content to waste time from the top position. Bamber takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bonezzi wants to control from the top but Bamber keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bonezzi scores with a takedown into Bamber's guard. Bonezzi is breathing heavily. Bonezzi is sitting in close to Bamber's body. Bamber has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bonezzi is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bonezzi is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bamber.
