Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Longson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longson has chosen Oopsy daisy chipmunk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Brandon Longson! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longson misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pain misses with a two punch combination.
Longson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Longson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pain counters with a takedown into side control. Pain trying to control the action but Longson is working from the bottom. Longson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Pain moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Pain working the ground and pound. Pain has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Pain gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is figuring out what he wants to do next. Pain wants to control but Longson is keeping him busy. Pain landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pain takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Longson wants to get back to full guard. Longson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Longson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pain sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Longson defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pain shoots in looking for a takedown. Longson tries to sprawl out of it but Pain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Longson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pain is breathing heavily. Longson wants to clinch. Pain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Longson tries to avoid it but Pain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Longson to the ground. Longson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Longson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pain swats him away and circles back towards the center. Longson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pain is out of range. Pain drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Longson is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain in side control, just content to control the action for now. Pain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pain decides to stand back up. Pain steps back and let's Longson get back to his feet. Pain throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Longson on the side of the head. Pain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Longson circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pain tries to keep at a distance but Longson has taken the fight into the clinch. Pain has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Longson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Longson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Longson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pain. Longson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pain swats him away and circles back towards the center. Longson throws a right hand that Pain ducks under and follows up with a left that Pain also avoids with ease. Pain scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Pain shoots in and bounces Longson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Longson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pain controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Pain dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pain cracks a nice hook into Longson's ribs. Longson tries to score with a low kick but Pain moves his leg out of the way. Longson tries to clinch there but Pain circles away.

and Pain counters with a single leg into guard. Longson didn't expect that. Longson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Longson, up you get! No luck for Pain with that takedown attempt. Max Pain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fight stays on the outside here - Longson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pain cracks Longson with a good jab. Pain shoots in for a takedown but Longson shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Longson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brandon Longson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pain closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Pain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Longson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Pain lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Longson down.
Longson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Pain lands a nice forearm strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Longson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Pain controlling his opponent. Longson is looking to get to half guard. Pain stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. A right-left combo lands from Pain. Pain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Longson's waist but Longson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pain off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Longson misses with a few strikes there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Longson moves in looking to clinch but Pain pushes him off. Pain looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Longson! Pain controlling the position easily from mount. Longson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pain pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pain working the ground and pound effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Longson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Longson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Pain wants to pass the guard but Longson is defending well. Pain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Longson sees it coming and defends easily. Pain tries to pass the half guard into mount. Longson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Longson wants to improve his position but Pain is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pain trying to control the position from guard on top but Longson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Longson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pain advances to half guard. Pain trying to mount his opponent but Longson defends it. Pain works his way into full mount! Pain landing shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Longson is trying desperately to improve position. Longson has left one of his arms exposed and Pain doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Longson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
