Simton closes the distance and clinches up with Gari, looking for a takedown. Simton pushes Gari against the cage but Gari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Simton or perhaps it was just good defense by Gari which made him look bad.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Simton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gari - the referee stops the clock and Simton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gari. Simton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Simton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gari is fending him off so far but Simton persists. Nope, Gari circles away and we're back to standing.
