The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearse moves out of range as Cek strikes.

Pearse swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cek.
Cek looks for a takedown but Pearse sprawls well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pearse tries to lock up and control but Cek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cek lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pearse throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cek moves out of range of the body kick.
Pearse uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cek.
Cek doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cek takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearse manages to avoid it.
Adamh Pearse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pearse.

A head kick lands from Pearse that sends Cek to the canvas. Cek tries to scramble back to his feet but Pearse brings him back down into side control.
