The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vekkiotsamo throws a jab but it's blocked by McHaggis.
McHaggis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Voitto Vekkiotsamo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vekkiotsamo throws a hook but McHaggis avoids it easily.
McHaggis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vekkiotsamo misses with a straight left.
Vekkiotsamo throws a quick inside leg kick.
McHaggis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vekkiotsamo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vekkiotsamo lands an overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vekkiotsamo scores with a spinning back kick!
McHaggis is breathing heavily.
Vekkiotsamo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Ulrich McHaggis has been cut.
Vekkiotsamo lands a big uppercut and McHaggis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McHaggis looks OK. Vekkiotsamo waves McHaggis back to his feet!
McHaggis is rocked!
Vekkiotsamo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends McHaggis to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Vekkiotsamo!
