Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Faraway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killarus McCloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Faraway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Killarus McCloud! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faraway circles away from the clinch attempt.
Faraway shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCloud as he jumps to the side. Faraway shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCloud as he avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Faraway or perhaps it was just good defense by McCloud which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Faraway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Faraway throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McCloud uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Faraway. Faraway shoots in for a takedown but McCloud shows good takedown defense. Faraway moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. McCloud misses with a takedown attempt - Faraway sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Faraway tries to grapple but his opponent circles and McCloud counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Faraway actively working from the bottom here. Faraway is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faraway tries to kick McCloud off but McCloud keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Faraway is breathing heavily. Faraway is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCloud's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCloud's back! McCloud breaks Faraway's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Faraway keeping moving, preventing McCloud from controlling successfully. McCloud has gone for a leg lock! Faraway slips out almost immediately though and dives into McCloud's guard. Faraway could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McCloud looking to sweep here. No luck so far. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McCloud is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McCloud is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Faraway is trying to control but can't.
Faraway wants to improve his position but McCloud is controlling well.
McCloud is keen to just control but Faraway is a slippery customer. Faraway is trying to stand back up but McCloud is controlling him
McCloud throwing shots but Faraway is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCloud lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Faraway is staying active underneath McCloud, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Faraway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McCloud counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McCloud. Faraway tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McCloud smiles and moves away.
McCloud avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Faraway throws a one two combo.
Faraway has taken the fight to the clinch.
McCloud breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Faraway doesn't succeed with the takedown and McCloud counters with a left and a right that stings Faraway. Faraway with a lazy takedown attempt and McCloud counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Faraway! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCloud wants to control the pace but Faraway is squirming around nicely. McCloud prevents Faraway from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Faraway is trying to stand up. McCloud looking to finish Faraway with some ground and pound. This is bad for Faraway! McCloud is landing with some decent strikes but Faraway is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Faraway flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Faraway throwing hammer fists to the chest of McCloud. What's that going to do exactly? McCloud trying to control but he's not successful this time. Faraway is looking to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Faraway bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! McCloud is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Killarus McCloud dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Faraway fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McCloud is looking to clinch. McCloud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCloud showed some decent athleticism there. Faraway is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCloud's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCloud's back! Faraway controlling the position well here. McCloud rolled but Faraway kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
McCloud is really stuck here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCloud tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Faraway avoids the attempt from McCloud to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faraway is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! McCloud has closed the distance and engaged Faraway in a clinch.
Faraway wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McCloud has him pressed against the cage. Faraway tries to break the clinch but McCloud is controlling the position. A right handed body shot lands from McCloud.
Faraway pulls guard successfully.
McCloud must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McCloud gets to his feet. Faraway looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! McCloud avoids the head kick by Faraway.

Faraway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McCloud counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCloud. McCloud missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Faraway is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McCloud has his hands clasped together but Faraway extends an breaks McCloud's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Faraway.
