Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tixarian Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyuga Neji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neji cracks a nice hook into Kane's ribs.
Neji moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neji lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kane circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neji is trying to break the clinch but Kane is controlling him.
Neji is working for takedown but Kane is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kane is trying to drag Neji to the mat but Neji just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kane turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kane manages to end up in side control.
Kane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kane counters with a single leg into guard. Neji didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Neji has his foot on Kane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kane works his way back into a safe position though.
Kane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Neji's guard.
Kane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kane wants to take a breather but Neji is having none of it.
