The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ray lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ray lands with a hook. Ly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ray keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jimmy Ly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ray tries to avoid it but Ly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ray to the ground. Ray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ly moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ray has worked his arm free - good work by Ray!

Ray throwing hammer fists to the chest of Ly. What's that going to do exactly?
Ray is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Poor strikes thrown by Ly there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ray, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
