Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmie Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon. Jimmie Johns has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Taylor. Johns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taylor moves away. Taylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johns.

Johns looks to score with a jab to the body but Taylor is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johns throws a body punch but Taylor moves out of range. Taylor misses with a series of wild punches.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Johns in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Johns misses the shot to the body. Taylor tries to clinch up. Johns misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taylor.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chuck Taylor. Well Taylor has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
