Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chung Riddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Break (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Todd Break is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Todd Break!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Break throws a series of punches but Riddell moves out of range.
Break misses with a hook. Riddell ducked under it nicely.
Todd Break seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Break throws a low kick, looking for Riddell's leg but Riddell calmly moves out of range.
Riddell lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Riddell shoots in for a double leg but Break sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Break misses with a straight right.
Riddell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Break sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Break misses the shot to the body.
Break thows a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Break throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Riddell moves away from the strike by Break.
Break throws the left hand but Riddell avoids the punch easily.

Riddell moves into the clinch successfully.
Break is trying to break free.
Riddell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Break is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Riddell unloads a knee to the mid-section. Break lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Riddell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Break gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Riddell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Break is trying to keep an underhook but Riddell manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Riddell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Break does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Riddell shoots in and drives through. Break sprawls well.

Break is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Riddell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Break throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Break misses with a hook. Riddell ducked under it nicely.
Riddell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Riddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Break throws a right and a left that Riddell avoids nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Break fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riddell manages to avoid it.
Break throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Riddell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Break misses with an uppercut.
Break misses with a wild body shot.
Break tries a head kick but it misses.
Break throws a looping overhand right but Riddell ducks down to avoid it.

Break gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Break manages to escape and get back to his feet.
A punch combination from Break misses.
Break looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Riddell shoots in for a takedown but Break shows good takedown defense.
Riddell shoots in for a double leg but Break sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Riddell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Break circles away.
Riddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Todd Break is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Break looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A low kick from Break is predictable there

and Riddell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Break won't be happy with that.
Break is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Riddell in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Break pushes Riddell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Riddell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Riddell wants to control but Break is keeping him busy.
Riddell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Break is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Riddell tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Sloppy strikes there by Riddell.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Break swings away with a body shot that misses
and Riddell counters with a one-two to the body.
Break throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Riddell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Riddell throws and elbow that misses. Break uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Riddell's guard. Nice move by Break!
Riddell wants to improve his position but instead Break has moved into half guard.

That's eight minutes gone in the round.

Break moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Riddell.
Riddell wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Break stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Break thows a body shot but no joy.
Break misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Riddell.
Riddell has a takedown stuffed.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Break throws a solid leg kick but Riddell takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Break.
Break throws a hook but Riddell avoids it easily.
Break swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Break misses with a kick to the body.
Break looks to land a combination but Riddell avoids it well.
Break stalks Riddell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Riddell's face. Riddell staggers backwards, shaken.
Break has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Riddell finds it's way round the side to connect with Break's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chung Riddell showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Riddell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
