Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalyan Kumar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spanky McFaddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalyan Kumar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalyan Kumar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spanky McFaddy! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFaddy defending well as Kumar loads up on a big left hand. Kumar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kumar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McFaddy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kumar's half guard. McFaddy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McFaddy seems to be working for a kimura but Kumar defends the submission attempt. Kumar is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kumar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McFaddy is working away from the top position though. McFaddy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McFaddy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McFaddy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kumar is not content to let McFaddy control the position. Kumar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McFaddy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McFaddy looks gassed! Kumar looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kumar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kumar. McFaddy wants to control from the top but Kumar keeps moving. McFaddy looking to sit in guard and control but Kumar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kumar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kumar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McFaddy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kumar's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kumar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McFaddy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spanky McFaddy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kumar, as that shot connected.
Kalyan Kumar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kumar ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kumar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McFaddy moves away. Kumar throws a jab when McFaddy was well out of range. McFaddy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kumar. Kumar circles away out of range and recomposes himself. McFaddy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kumar.
A slow jab from Kumar misses its intended target. McFaddy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kumar! McFaddy dominating with strikes here. McFaddy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McFaddy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kumar's face.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McFaddy looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McFaddy lands with some strikes. McFaddy controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that McFaddy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kumar takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McFaddy content just to control the position here. Kumar tries to buck McFaddy off but he can't manage it. McFaddy looking to finish Kumar with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kumar! Kumar stops McFaddy from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFaddy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. McFaddy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kumar is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kumar flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McFaddy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kumar and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McFaddy slips an arm under Kumar chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McFaddy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McFaddy is squeezing on Kumar like an anaconda would it's prey. Kumar fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Spanky McFaddy!
