Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Tenorman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thiago Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki shoots in but Tenorman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Suzuki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Suzuki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tenorman tries to roll over but Suzuki keeps him under control.
Suzuki wants to pass to mount but Tenorman is defending the position.

Tenorman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Suzuki for as long as he can get away with.

Tenorman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Suzuki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tenorman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Suzuki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tenorman's back instead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tenorman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Tenorman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Suzuki!

Tenorman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Suzuki is looking to improve his position but Tenorman isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
