Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sid Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Norris! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Taylor.
Norris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Taylor is pulling down on Norris's head. It's preventing any offense from Norris, at least for the moment. Norris avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Norris preventing the sweep. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Norris tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard. Norris would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Norris is fighting to break Taylor's control of his arms but Taylor is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Norris wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Taylor has his hands on Norris's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Taylor swats away the attempt to clinch by Norris. Norris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Taylor defends it nicely. Norris gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Taylor misses the shot to the body. Taylor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Norris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Norris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Norris persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing. Sid Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Norris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Taylor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norris throws a hook but Taylor avoids it easily. Taylor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Taylor wants to control but Norris is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Taylor throwing shots but Norris is blocking nicely. Taylor is figuring out what he wants to do next. Taylor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Norris for as long as he can get away with. Norris is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard. Norris looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Taylor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Still in half guard, Taylor seems content to control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Sid Taylor just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Norris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center. Norris misses with a takedown and Taylor counters with a body kick. Sid Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Norris. Taylor lands with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Norris on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Taylor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Taylor keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Norris is in trouble now - Taylor has advanced to mount! Taylor controlling from mount. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Taylor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sid Taylor dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Taylor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Norris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Norris is looking to regain half guard here but Taylor keeps moving and retains side control. Taylor tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Norris tries to buck Taylor off but Taylor is having none of it. A lull in the action here as Taylor stalls from top position. Taylor has an Americana. Norris didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Taylor is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Taylor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sid Taylor!
