Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Caige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gal Dove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Caige might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Silverchair- Pure massacre. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caige drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
No luck for Dove with that takedown attempt.

Dove tries to bum rush Caige with a series of wild strikes but Caige uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dove looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Caige with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dove wants to control but Caige is keeping him busy.

Caige knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dove on the ground.
Caige is looking to control Dove's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Caige avoid being mounted?

Dove is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Caige is just riding it out for now. Dove eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dove might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
