Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ace shottas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Bravo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Johny Bravo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo throws a low kick but it's checked well by shottas.
Bravo tries to clinch but shottas is having none of it.
Bravo shoots in for a double leg but shottas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bravo closes this distance looking for a takedown but shottas circles away.
Bravo throws a head kick that misses.
shottas avoids the head kick by Bravo.
Bravo leaves shottas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
shottas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bravo was covering up waiting for the punch and shottas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

shottas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bravo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bravo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by shottas.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as shottas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bravo keeping moving, preventing shottas from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
shottas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bravo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bravo has escaped and now he's on top!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

shottas is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bravo pulls his head out easily.
Bravo throwing shots but shottas is blocking nicely.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bravo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
shottas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bravo is letting shottas control him for a moment.
Bravo is looking for a sweep.
Bravo is trying to get back to his feet.
Bravo tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
shottas has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bravo's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

shottas is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bravo is defending well though. shottas let's go of the attempt for now.
shottas gets his hands free as Bravo looks to control.

shottas is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bravo has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

shottas is trying to stick to Bravo's back but Bravo is turning into shottas. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in shottas's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bravo.

shottas is looking to stand up but Bravo isn't so interested in that idea.

shottas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bravo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. shottas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bravo's back instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
shottas working for a triangle but Bravo defends it easily.

shottas is trying to keep Bravo in close.
shottas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
shottas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bravo is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
shottas wants to finish this one by submission but Bravo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from shottas.

The referee warns Bravo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bravo wants to hold on but shottas pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, shottas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
shottas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bravo looks a forlorn figure.

shottas has control of Bravo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bravo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for shottas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
